Welcome to The Irish Arts Foundation of Atlanta website!

Welcome! The IAF is a North Metro Atlanta not-for-profit organization that promotes traditional Irish music in our neighborhoods. Throughout the year we sponsor music concerts with famous Irish musicians; ceili dances with a live dance band as well as music workshops, competitions and sessions. We want you to join us in the joy of playing and listening to traditional Irish music in your North Metro community! Junior Ceili Band Impresses the Crowd in Motor City


The Atlanta Junior Ceili Band made its first appearance at the Midwest Fleadh in May 2009, representing not only Atlanta but also the entire Southern region for the first time at a national fleadh.

The Band competed in the Under-15 category and brought home a 2nd place award in the Ceili Band competition and a 3rd place in Group Cheoil.

The individual members of the Band continued the Atlanta tradition of significant success in the solo, duet and trio competitions. This year's winners:
